I've become a great fan of Phillipa Gregory, who has written many books about the Tudor dynasty in England in the 1500's. Loved the way they were both able to find a way to heal after being hurt for so many years. Conflict lies in the underlying reasons why they are unable to communicate. It is an anlysis of why the Russian Revolution failed and a passionate counter-blast to Stalin and what Trotsky sees as the betrayal of revolutionary ideals. It showed the love that just continued to grow. I scooped it up right away and was not disappointed. "Don't draw wrong conclusions based on too few clues", I hear him say.

This is a difficult book to comment on because the author has talent. The writing flows easily and although the pacing slows at times, it never gets completely bogged down.
