One of the best business books that I've read. (Jewish Book World)The Rebbe: The Life and Afterlife of Menachem Mendel Schneerson by Samuel Heilman and Menachem Friedman fills a considerable void in the biography of one of the towering religious figures of the 20th century. Personally, I found it hard to put this book down, as it touched upon so many issues I have thought about in the past few years, especially when I see one my own bosses yearning to become one of the megawealthy fatcats he obviously admires so much. It’s a book to come back to time and time again as an inspiration to practice, and it is now available to a new generation of seekers in this fortieth anniversary edition, with a new afterword by Shunryu Suzuki’s biographer, David Chadwick. This guide is small enough to carry around in your hand, but it is filled with a load of information. I've seen some critiques that say the content is a bit basic, but I don't agree with that at all. Bright and colorful illustrations drive the pace of a charming story that keeps you wanting to know what's going to happen.
